Benishyaka is a national non-governmental organisation formed in July 1995 to address the socio-economic needs of vulnerable communities in Rwanda — specifically women, girls, and people with disabilities.

To be the leading community development organisation restoring hope, empowering and transforming vulnerable communities to acquire the knowledge, skills, and capital for sustainable development.

A cohesive Rwandan society where empowered vulnerable communities access equal rights, livelihood opportunities, and actively participate in national development.
